Fall Line-Up Announced!
First up, TEN Anthology and Charmed Reset Reality are confirmed to continue running throughout the year, and in CRR's case will run straight into the next season without a gap, so lucky you, Charmed fans! In more Anthology news, we're told that the next episode, an adaption of "Ghost Rider", will not be eligible for voting at the end of the year, due to the writer (Dave Kohler) being absent at the time of airing, and seemingly for a long while yet.
As previously announced in February, Lara Croft Tomb Raider will be back for it's second season later this year, with six hour-long episodes making up a daring new story that reflects Lara's past. The show is joined by it's spin-off, Mona Lisa, which is described as a "more urban Tomb Raider", which will run for half the time, three weeks. These shows are expected to drop in November.
Another new announcement is the replacement of Dave Kohler's shows with two, brand new original ideas. Caydem Falls is the brainchild of Trent Chapman, and previously aired at VBCtv before it was closed, and has found it's new home here. The series is a family drama set amisdt a zombie apocalypse, and we're told that both the Network President's are very excited to have it airing on the network. It will begin airing around mid-year and will be the first of the Fall shows to air, so you can expect that to drop in June or July. The other new show was previously lined up for TEN Anthology, but the showrunner, Tom East, saw that the show had so much potential that he bumped it up to make it's own show. He is now aided by Chris Haigh, who is edited as Co-Showrunner for the show. Haigh has previously worked with East on the first season of Lara Croft Tomb Raider, and is an Executive Producer on it's second season and the spin-off, Mona Lisa. The show is known as Misery Business, and is said to take characters from East's life and put them into twisted situations, inspired by the true happenings of his life, although we're told that you shouldn't regard everything as true fact, because the show will veer towards East's personall fantasies more then staying to reality.
Another show os East's, the much awaited Doctor Who Tales, has been pushed back to the Fall line-up to allow more time on production. We are told, however, that everything is running smoothly, and that one episode is completely finished and ready to air, with two more in various stages of production, and five out of eight scripts complete. It is expected to premiere in August, and will be a bi-weekly show.
We can also expect one or two movies this year from the TEN staff, namely a top secret project known only as "Project Zero". We're told that not even Network President Dan Taylor knows what it is about, apart from that it is a collaboration between East and Haigh, once again.
That's all for know, we'll keep you updated if there's any changes in the schedule, but we hope to see you all in the second half of the year reading some of the great new shows availible!
